I am a seasoned investment professional with over 20 years of experience in infrastructure, climate finance, and sustainable investments. As the Co-Founder and CEO of Mwaana Inc., I lead the charge in the conservation of Africa’s vital ecosystems, with a focus on the Congo Basin. At Mwaana, our mission is to conserve 100 million hectares of forest by 2035 while fostering climate-resilient economic development and empowering local communities.Previously, I served as CEO of the Gabonese Sovereign Wealth Fund (FGIS), where I oversaw $1.8 billion in assets and led the fund's green finance strategy. This included Africa’s first $500M debt-for-nature swap. In parralel, I led the monetization of 90 million tons of UNFCCC REDD+ results historically sequestered by the Gabonese forest.
