Adebunmi Adeola Akinbo is the Secretary of the Association for Information and Communication Technology for Local Content (ICTLOCA) and a member of Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN). He is the initiator and Team Lead for Beyond Saving Lives Foundation (BSLF), an MDGs turned SDGs, formerly Saving Lives Nigeria. Akinbo is a Pioneer Member of the Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA). He was an Executive Member of the Board of Directors, elected at the 5th Annual General Meeting (April 2013 - April 2017) , and was involved in the day-to-day coordination of events, policy, and training, as they are related to the multi-stakeholder association across his country. He served on the Constitution Review Committee (CRC) and is a pioneer member of the Board of Trustee, NiRA.Akinbo Adebunmi was appointed as the Acting Secretary | Chief Operating Officer for the Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA) to manage the affairs of the Secretariat pending the appointment of a substantive Chief Operating Officer (July 23rd, 2013 to May 21st, 2014). He was saddled with the responsibility of improving the Public Relations and Re-organization of Information and Upgrades in Service, Secretariat Management and Business Development. Hecoined the handle @niraworks and set a pace for a National Treasure on the Internet Space-cape.Poet, Graphics and Content Expert, Management Consultant, Dancer, Martial Art Practitioner and Social Media Guru, his signature is Akinbo A. A. Cornerstone . He believes that poverty can be eradicated with Knowledge Transfer and Mentorship. To him,"Consistency confirms credibility -akinbo 2002".He was the pioneer Chief Operating Officer for DNS Africa Magazine, a print that debuted at the ICANN 47 informing Africa all about the DNS Industry in the world with focus on Africa. He went on to start DNS Africa Media and Communications, the generation next spreading across Africa and beyond. In 2023, he became an ICANN Fellow and recipient of the 2nd Paul Muchene ICANN Fellowship Award. He initiated the Nigeria DNS Forum and the Nigeria DNS Academy, where he had worked along side expert like the late Paul Muchene.He also runs KOBOKINGs Limited, an innovation and local content, content development channel and platform. It also runs consultancy platform for developing organisations, research and developmental tools, social media and management consulting, collaboration and partnerships.He started AsoADURA Radio, an online faith-based radio station (formerly SERAF Radio).
