Experienced, result-driven Quantity Surveyor and Cost Manager with over 8 years in the construction industry. My experience cuts across Consulting (Quantity Surveying and Project Management), Contracting, Civil Engineering works, Mechanical and Electrical Installation works as well as Fit Out and interior design. I'm passionate about cost management, cost control, contract administration, claim administration for my client with a view of getting value for money (VFM) and ensuring the best quality of work and workmanship. My passion for the profession coupled with perseverance and resilience, has made me to function beyond expectation in handling the high pressure that comes with the work over the years, I have developed the ability to self-start and take pride in what I do, I have had the opportunity to work amongst diverse teams, and led the cost management of several projects until they were successfully accomplished.Currently, I Head the procurement team with a fit out / design and build company focusing on scaling the business and also reduce cost of sales and increasing profit margin. I’m excited about this new role because it will afford me the opportunity to learn more within this space and also experience the positive result of my value-add into the organization one of which is getting partnership deals with some of the manufacturers and suppliers.
