OGUN STATE CASSAVA SPECIAL INTERVENTION PROJECT TEAMGiven the strategic objective to develop Cassava value chain by increasing the State’s cassava production (2000 Ha), improve productivity to meet demand and increase farmers’ revenue, I: Created a database of cassava farmers in the State and worked closely with the registered cassava farmers, through the Nigeria Cassava Growers Association (NCGA), Ogun state chapter. Provided technical support to NCGA farmers during the processing of NIRSAL's loan facility. Carried out Cassava value chain demand/supply gap analysis and supported NCGA’s engagement with service providers, especially for mechanization and input supply.OGSTEP: OGUN STATE ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATION PROJECT ($250 million World Bank Assisted Project) Worked closely with the development partner technical consultants in provision of support on project conceptualization and design, strategic planning of OGSTEP and document preparation (Budget, Project Implementation Manual etc) in readiness for Board approval. Had strategic engagements with the Task Team Leader and other team members alongside the management of the Ministry during World Bank Mission. Worked with the Project Manager on all pre-project activities, including local travels.COMMUNICATIONS Team lead who set up the Ministry’s first online presence: Website (www.ogunagric.com) and social media platforms (Twitter/ Instagram: @ogunstateagric). The website greatly improved the Ministry’s dissemination of information to her various publics.OTHER COMMITMENTS Worked directly with the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Director of Planning, Research and Statistics, and other management staff of the Ministry of Agriculture to develop Ogun State’s Strategic Development Plan (2017 – 2030). Worked directly with the Hon Commissioner for Agriculture on special intervention projects related to the different value chains in the State as well as FG Youth schemes.
