Milly was a digital service that made sure people don’t overpay for electricity by scanning the market and switching our customers automatically to the cheapest green tariff. I led the product management/development, operations and team of software developers, designers, growth marketers and business developers.Milly existed to increase clarity, fairness and equality in electricity retail market and to make switching to green option mainstream.Milly operated in Spain during 2020-2021.

I led the energy industry domain in Tieto's business consulting and reported to Global Head of Industry Business Consulting. My work included customer relationship management and sales as well as developing and targeting Tieto’s offering in energy sector. The main themes I worked with were digital transformation and business development related to e.g. Internet of Things and other data-driven concepts.

I worked within the whole energy value chain in expert/advisor and project manager/director roles. I contributed in direct sales and public tenders and worked with both private and public sector customers. Besides the energy sector, I worked within process industry and transportation sector.My experience covers technical and financial modeling, feasibility studies and investment analyses. I have also experience in M&A due diligence as well as company strategy work, especially in regulated electricity distribution business.During 2013-2017 I did systematic business intelligence related to energy markets, technologies, fuels and business concepts. I managed the development and deployment of Gaia's intelligence service for clients in energy sector. I have taken part in several sustainability assignments in process industry as well as sustainable land use projects and strategy work to support municipalities to cost-efficiently reduce their environmental footprint.

I did my master’s thesis during the six months fixed-term contract. My research compared different energy and water monitoring system possibilities for municipalities using stochastic multicriteria analysis. Results supported municipalities' investment decision-making process. The peer-reviewed article of the research was published in Energy and Buildings journal: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0378778813008451After finishing my thesis, I worked as a project planner in AsEMo-project wherein I did feasibility study on energy monitoring services for households. My main responsibilities included defining and analyzing characteristics, stakeholders and costs of alternative monitoring service setups.

I worked in engineering company as a summer trainee and a part-timer along with my studies. I did mostly energy and CO2 balance calculations and development tasks related to energy efficiency as well as information retrieval, analysis and reporting. I also worked within power plants’ environmental impact assessment and environmental permit preparations.
