This is an annual trip catered for year 8 students to be put out of their comfort zone as they camp and take part in activities they haven't before. As a volunteer I have the opportunity to encourage and support students whether it be caving, biking, archery, or hiking up Ingleborough, even if they are anxious or reluctant. It is incredibly rewarding to uphold a positive, adventure-seeking, and high-energy atmosphere throughout the weeks, and I will continue to return and volunteer.

Maintaining a safe environment on-site at the secondary school, enforcing rules, cleaning the canteen, controlling queues, and various other tasks ensuring lunch time operates smoothly at the school.

From a lockdown hobby has developed into consistent clients getting their hair cut by me. I am proud to have built this skill from scratch to producing a high level of work. It has enhanced my skills in communication and networking in trying to gain further clients.

Part-time job along with being a student. I value the time I spent here as I improved my people and teamwork skills as we provided a service for the challenged residents.
