I am currently studying a Podiatry at La Trobe University. Over the past semester, I have had the opportunity to work as an admin staff member at Harcourt Specialist Centre and more recently, BePodiatry. I have learned how to navigate administrative systems, process payments and refunds, administer confirmation calls, ask questions to gain an understanding of clients concerns, develop communication and teamwork skills with admin staff and practitioners, as well as build professional relationships with the clients, helping them to feel understood and comfortable, before and after their appointments. I also have experience in handing Enhanced Primary Care documents and processing TAC payments.My classmates, instructors and co-workers have described me as kind, caring, hard working, a team player and a person of integrity. I have had a lot of experience working collaboratively with other staff to achieve a common goal. I will be graduating in 2027 and I am excited to be working in a profession in which I can help people with both their mental and physical well being. Having an auto-immune issue myself, I look forward to any opportunity to understand and help those around me.
