Build and maintain networks, servers, and workstations for existing and new clients within Anchorage, and throughout the state. Assess and document client networks and equipment, provide upgrade or improvement recommendations where needed. Implement network, hardware, and software improvements. Made repairs when possible while onsite. Monitor and maintain client network infrastructures using Remote Network Management Software. Fielded technical support calls from clients and non-clients, troubleshoot and resolve their issues remotely from office, and onsite. Provide recommendations for backup solutions, implement, document, maintain and monitor daily backups. Physically rotate backup media off client sites on schedule, and perform regular backup restoration tests of client backups on schedule. Create and update network documentation of clients.

Maintained 5 servers, 75 workstations, 200+ "Dumb Terminals", 5 subnets, 3 phone systems, 2 security camera & door access systems, 8 DVR’s for cameras in all retail stores, and all hardware & software programs for 8 locations: University Center Mall - Corporate office/warehouse/customer service, Sadler’s Home Furnishings, and La-Z-Boy; Midtown Anchorage - Williams & Kay, Rooms Express, and The Ultimate Mattress Store; and also Sadler’s Home Furnishings in Fairbanks & in Sterling. In addition, I managed and maintained 5 domains, 60 email accounts. IT Help Desk, Network Admin, Database Admin, Phone System Programmer.
