Operate all the different areas of the plant, handle all permitting in my area and perform Safe-outs on systems and equipment. Some of the equipment I manage for my current job are Turbine water injection pumps supported by electric water booster pumps as well as Turbine gas compressors combined supported by a few electric gas compressors all managing different pressure stages associated with multiple “3 phase” separation vessels that are followed up by a series of electric oil booster pumps and sales oil shipping pumps. There are also multiple different utility systems such as air compressors, glycol heat exchangers, sandjet systems, chemical pumps, Boiler systems, Waste Heat Recovery Units, etc.

Oversee the day to day operations on ENI's remote drillsite located almost 4 miles off of Alaska's northern arctic coastline. My role includes daily SIMOPS between all the different crafts such as drilling, wireline, construction, operations, safety, etc. I perform daily reporting activities such as, well performance, maintenance issues, work log items, personnel, etc. I am also responsible for keeping up with our companies training curriculum and promoting a safe and positive working environment by running weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual emergency drills associated with process safety, personnel safety, and fire & gas safety evacuation scenarios that are in compliance with current safety regulations.

Oliktok Point, Alaska

Monitor DCS to insure all systems including but not limited to SIS, fire & gas, process, utility, wells, and pipelines are operating safely and efficiently within design parameters. Troubleshoot abnormal conditions and generate effective solutions based on available information and make timely decisions. Insure correct information is logged and communicated to field operators, engineering and upper management as needed Step up as Lead Operator when called upon. Train and mentor new employees. Record downtime of well and facility work crews.

Milne Point Alaska

Oversee all drill site and facility operations, perform safe-outs, issue all permits to work, lead daily toolbox meetings, communicate and assist with all Drill & Work-over Rig operations on the pad, perform maintenance on all equipment such as thermal fluid heat exchangers, reciprocating gas compressors, PCP production pumps, centrifugal fluid pumps, separation tanks, piping, valves and safety systems, record daily instrument and pressure readings in the TIO logbook, monitor MMI’s that use IFIX software and S.C.A.D.A. PLC’s, read P&ID’s, create and update procedures, initiate and evaluate MOC’s, troubleshoot upstream and downstream situations that may occur, adjust chemical rates as needed, sand jet vessels, write and document all work requests, work with other contractors in a professional manner, support continuous improvement and all safety policies and procedures. Demonstrated ability to work safely and independently, able to multi-task, and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures associated with assigned projects. An active participant of the BP Alaska and CH2M HILL safety and environmental management program, as well as a strong advocate of the zero incident culture.Accomplishments:• Became a team member for the successful completion of a heavy oil pilot project that recently resulted in producing over 500 barrels of heavy oil a day per well.• Helped find ways to prolong the life of the well’s by researching chemical injection methods and specialized tubing strings used around the world.• Generated an annual valve maintenance schedule based on the usage of valves used in the field and facility which intern eliminated 95% of valve failures, the cost of replacing valves, and loss of production.• Started out as a Roustabout and worked my way up to a Production Operator in under 5years by applying myself and completing BP’s E-book training and API certifications and getting involved in every special project and operation that needed assistance.

Milne Point, Ak

Managed a Field Support Tech team providing field wide support for projects and operations. Job duties included, but are not limited to, the support of field shut down’s and restart’s, installation and removal of back pressure valves and two way check’s in well heads, acid flow backs, brine flow backs, opening and blinding of process lines, WAG swaps (water to gas), DHD (down-hole diagnostics), valve maintenance, safe outs, hardline rig ups, Oil well de-mobes and re-hooks, rig preps, flange installation and removal, bolt-up procedures, pressure testing, proper permitting, understand P&ID’s, and troubleshoot pumps, compressors, valves and pressurized systems. Assisted drill site and well pad operators with daily operations, worked with heavy equipment (cranes, loaders, etc.), and assisted other company contractors as needed. Accomplishments:• Actively being involved in multiple Turn around (TAR) Operations which involves field wide shut-down's and start up's as well as Smart pigging operations to ensure the safety of pipeline operations.• Helped put together a more efficient maintenance plan for valve greasing throughout the field which cut down on man time and increased valve efficiency.• Helped design a new state of the art grease truck equipped with everything we needed to perform all job tasks within are job scope which cut back on man time, man power, fuel cost, and boosted efficiency tremendously.• As an active member of Continuous Improvement Program I did some research on vehicle backup cameras to help cut down on the incident rate and damage reports and boost the efficiency time and safety of trailer hauling. After getting the cameras installed there has not been one single incident or damage report and has tripled the efficiency time it takes to back up to a trailer safely.
