A meal ordering system running on Palm handheld devices that allowed hospital assistants to order directly from patient rooms 2. A palm conduit that synchronized data between servers and handheld databases to perform sophisticated matching that prevented patients from ordering meals that were not allowed 3. A set of administrative programs, including user management, menu designer and different reports, for entire Patient Order Management System 5. Interfaces with different hospital systems including flat file parsing and HL7 protocols 6. An MSI database developed using orca and other IntelMSI tools- Designed and implemented point-of-sale software for fast-food restaurants and hospital cafeterias that offered functionality including multiple methods of payment and single check payment split method- Ensured customer expectations were exceeded at West Boca Medical Center by arriving on-site to discover problems with the HL7 interface, quickly developing modifications to render the interface module useable in less than 18 hours- Decreased time to market, improved product quality and streamlined modification of existing code by introducing development processes and focusing on appropriate distribution of time and effort throughout all phases of the software development life cycle
