I was one of the business partners of Berkeley Interactive Design, a 3D content creation shop that crafted interactive 3D characters for marketing purposes, and built XRave, one of the first immersive 3D community sites on the internet. My role involved everything from creative content creation (writing, design), programming (HTML, CSS, javascript, and VRML), Apache server setup and deployment, e-commerce integration, hiring and onboarding contract talent, marketing and business development. BID projects were featured in LeMonde, Wired, and Details magazine.
