My job as a project manager includes running home restoration projects from beginning to end. I interact with insurance companies to rebuild homes that are damaged, and also work with clients who are looking to remodel. My responsibilities include the following: setting project timelines, coordinating sub-contractors, creating budgets, client interaction, quality control, creating estimates for change orders, and submitting supplements to the insurance companies.

Using my experience as an installer in the construction field, I was able to pivot into a custom home estimator role. I used PrebuiltML on a daily basis to produce takeoffs for homes being built in the Austin/Waco area mainly. Foundation, framing, roofing, siding and interior trim all fall under the materials we gave estimates for and subsequently sell to the builders. I worked with many engineered drawings as well as non-engineered drawings in which I need to design ceiling joist layouts and size EWP beams for large spans. Daily working with these framing layouts gave me a thorough understanding of home construction and furthered my desire to work within the construction industry.

• Responsible for leading a field crew in the installation of doors, windows, fascia and other residential construction projects in the San Antonio area. • Given oversight of each project and tasked with ensuring excellent craftsmanship, timely completion of work, and cleanliness of the job site. • I am the main point of contact for each customer while the project is under way, and place high importance on relationship building, earning trust and receiving later referrals. • Provided customers accurate quotes and estimates for potential construction jobs.

• Worked as a Product Engineer at a pump manufacturing plant, fulfilling responsibilities ranging from customer engineering support to product design.• I creating 2D machine drawings for pump component production, developed 3D pump models in the CAD program Creo, and ran FEA analysis for discharge heads and motor mounts.• I processed incoming orders every day, running engineering calculations to approve pump dimensions and specifications, and prepared Bill of Materials for the assembly shop.• Individually completed an impeller bearing design project to decrease cost, while also calculating difference of efficiency comparing available materials
