I started as the Practice Manager for Northwood OBGYN, then moved into a Project Management and Revenue Cycle Management role after 3 years. As the Practice Manager, I was responsible for high-level overview of all operations of the practice. This included revenue management, human resources, finance, contract management, business management, risk management, tech & data management, patient education, and marketing. After moving into a Project and Revenue Cycle Management role, my focus shifted from overall operations of the practice to focusing specifically on process improvement and regulatory initiatives. This included:-development and implementation of projects to achieve practice goals-management of implementation projects start to finish-soliciting internal feedback from providers and staff, as well as external feedback, to ensure quality measures are met-develop excellent communication to ensure all individuals included in process and policy changes are kept informed and educated-act as an advocate for change, including influencing others for project buy-in from key stakeholders-Track progress and communicate status updates and changes to any impacted individuals-Directly manage teams of individuals and key stakeholders related to project-Establish processes and policies according to regulatory guidelines-Utilize Lean Six Sigma principles to ensure efficiency in project execution
