As a Research Assistant at Clemson University, I am developing a framework for predicting the ductility of tungsten-based bcc high entropy alloys for nuclear fusion reactor applications. This project involves DFT and Molecular Dynamics simulations for computing parameters like surface energies, unstable stacking fault energies and elastic constants, setting up a cluster expansion model using ATAT, as well as collaborating with faculty and peers to publish the results in journals and conferences.I have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a Bachelor of Technology degree from VJTI and three years of full-time industrial experience at Ambuja Cements, a Holcim Group Company. There, I was responsible for mechanical maintenance, preventive maintenance, and annual shutdown planning for pyro-processing and grinding sections of the cement plant, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. I also gained valuable skills in project management, teamwork, and problem-solving.I am passionate about advancing the knowledge and innovation in the field of Mechanical Engineering and applying it to address real-world challenges. I am also a member of Phi Kappa Phi, a prestigious honor society that recognizes academic excellence and leadership. I am eager to learn from and contribute and to pursue my career goals in academia or industry.
