Participated in improving and building resilient and scalable infrastructure on the bare-metal environment.• Migrated company's CI server from CircleCI to the in-house Jenkins+Docker solution which resulted in reduce of the passing tests time by 3-4 times.• Implemented the creation of personal staging environments for developers team using Chef and Docker containers.• Wrote Ruby wrappers to provide graceful restarts for applications managed by supervisord with URL health checks and memory monitoring for the whole production ruby/jruby applications.• Maintained MongoDB and sharded MySQL clusters with the set of data in terabytes.

I joined a small company with only 4 servers, where I have built highly available infrastructure which was rapidly expanding to meet business needs (up to 150-200 servers on AWS EC2). The project had a very heterogeneous structure and involved various programming languages (Java, Lisp, Nodejs, Python, Erlang), but each component/service was specifically designed in such a way that ensured minimum negative impact of a sudden failure using layers of proxies and load balancers, Chef automation, HA MySQL clusters, distributed FS, detailed monitoring, LVM/EBS Snapshots backups, etc.

Provided full-fledged support of a large FreeBSD/Linux infrastructure with different heavy load(3 millions of unique users per month) sub-projects, such as news sites, video portals, online magazines, etc.• Managed day to day operations of all production environments.• Researched and applied DM-multipathing for SAN system storage for failover protection.• Supported all hardware assets: IBM BladeCenter, Hardware Load Balancers.

Working as VoIP Engineer I was responsible for termination and origination of the voice traffic in the provider's infrastructure: developing dial plans, Callthru, in-house VoIP billing, GSM/SMS/(Skype For Asterisk) gateways.• Implemented failover system for Asterisk servers.• Debugging and troubleshooting SIP/H323/PRI both upstream providers’ and customers' issues• Participated in the development of custom GSM-VoIP gateway, based on 3G USB dongles and chan_datacard.• Wrote custom-built nagios scripts for VoIP security checking, quality measurements, etc.

• Designed and applied a telephony system joining corporate VoIP in the central office and remote retail outlets as well as incorporated them into a single dial plan with the Asterisk plus traditional PBX.• Implemented proxy gateway solution for all employees with billing, statistics, and reports for the management.• Applied corporate XMPP instant messaging system for all departments, with LDAP(AD) users syncing.
