Unravelling the relationship between the ACE2 gene variants and the risk of developing Preeclampsia in Bangladeshi populations. The project aimed to Investigate the correlation between maternal ACE2 polymorphism and maternal blood pressure, concurrently assessing the ACE2 polymorphism association in neonates (cord blood) born to mothers with normal and preeclamptic pregnancies. The tasks performed during the projects include: 1. Extracted DNA from blood samples of patients and control subjects obtained from a diagnostic center 2. Conducted PCR amplification of the target gene segment 3. Employed the RFLP method for genotyping analysis

Executed DNA extraction from blood samples utilizing both conventional methods and extraction kits 5. Acquired proficiency in conducting HPLC, PCR, qPCR, and digestion procedures 6. Utilized bioinformatics tools such as BLAST, Pymol, and SWISS-MODEL for comprehensive protein structure analysis
