Answered an emergency crisis line and collaborated with local police, mental health hospitals, and the Department of Children and Family Services to meet the needs of the callers. Served as a community resource for people in immediate crisis.
Led a group of at risk youth in various landscaping projects around Minneapolis as part of a summer youth employment program. Taught youth English as a second language, reading, math, and social studies classes as part of their work program.
