Akrobatik has released three solo studio albums, and three others as a member of The Perceptionists with fellow Boston native Mr. Lif. His first single, "Ruff Enuff" was released in 1998 on Detonator Records, and his most recent project, Low Resolution, with The Perceptionists, was released in August 2018. The Perceptionists' 2005 Definitive Jux release Black Dialogue was named one of the Top 50 Albums of the Year by Rolling Stone (#35). Billboard refers to Akrobatik and Mr. Lif as "hip-hop's most politically aware emcees". Ak has traveled to dozens of countries to perform, and his music can be found in television (including two songs featured on HBO's "The Wire"), movies, and video games dating back to the early 2000s. The title track from his most recent solo album, Built To Last, appears on the EA Sports UFC video game soundtrack.

When not writing and recording songs or touring, Akrobatik teaches a course at UMass Boston Honors college called Hip-Hop: History and Practice. The class covers hip-hop origins, key figures, and includes in-depth in-class discussions all while also giving students hands-on experience in the culture's elements. Public Enemy's Chuck D. being interviewed live in-class via Skype and a class field trip to the birthplace of hip-hop are among a typical semester's highlights. Ak often co-teaches the class with Prof. Rachel Rubin, his mentor and founder of the class.

Akrobatik has provided voice-overs for radio, videos, commercials, and video games for companies such as ClearChannel, Red Bull, NFL, Pepsi, NESN and Harmonix Music Systems, with versatility, experience, and lighting fast turnaround as his main strengths.

Akrobatik has hosted a wide variety of different events over the years for Red Bull across the United States. Events like Red Bull Soundclash and Red Bull ThreeStyle has seen Akrobatik working alongside artists like The Roots, Wale, Antibalas, and Tokyo Police Club, to name a few. Up next for Ak and Red Bull will be Red Bull BC One Boston on 9/1/18, where Akro will host this regional round with the winner getting a chance to compete in the World Finals in Vienna, Austria.

Akrobatik was an on-air personality at Jam'n 94.5, where he provided The Morning Show with Ramiro and Pebbles with daily sports updates in freestyle rap format. Ak also provided the station with special custom songs tailored for big games involving the city's home teams. Akrobatik's "Sports Rap Up"was one of the station's most popular segments for years, and led to many similar opportunities, including stint's with NESN as well as sports-related commercials for the NFL, Pepsi, and others.

Akrobatik performed for several years in live events and a TV pilot as "Super Minion #96" for Boston-Based Kaiju Big Battel, a pro wrestling/manga/live-action comic book hybrid that has to be seen to be believed! Ak has also incorporated pro wrestling-style spots into his musical performances from time to time, with hilariously fun results.
