It also supported 5-tuple rule match and decoupling forward/drop and CoS actions for improved use of hardware classification rules.  Implemented RESTCONF APIs for cloud management following YANG data models.  Created unit tests using ROBOT/Pycharm under GitHub source control.  Implemented new CLI using Python.  Worked with QA in India defining system tests and resolving issues.• Implemented IEEE 802.1AE MACsec with Pre Shared Key authentication (802.1X-2010). This allowed for port based NAC and point-to-point encryption.  Tied the secured/unsecured port states to the existing port operational state.  Integrated the send/receive EAPOL “hello” packets and MKPDUs with the state machine to control port operational state and programing of the PHYs (encrypt or clear).  Worked with Broadcom on SDK and PHY issues.  Updated platform YAML files to specify per port MACsec support.  Tested interoperability with Enterasys, Juniper and Linux MACsec implementations.

Upgraded bulk moves from FTP to NFS and distribution to TIPC socket.• Documented and implemented Netflow V9 support and verified with 3rd party collectors.• Evaluated and submitted recommendation for SSH vendor with VxWorks 6.5 support.• Implemented various CLI security configurations for Army JITC/TIC compliance.Matrix X-Series Core Router• Linux RTOS (Redhat) with a dedicated control plane that operated separately from the switching /routing data plane.• Extensive use of Linux simulation (UML) to expedite firmware development.• Implemented wrapper code for third-party and Open Source NTP, SSH client and server, DHCP client and DNS components to facilitate integration into platform firmware.• Implemented Netflow, flow based statistics and tested with 3rd party collectors.• Implemented RMON Statistics, History, Alarms, and Event MIB groups.• Implemented SMON port mirroring over a distributed architecture.• Ported VxWorks based Layer 2 components to Linux.
