Supported the scaling of Cognism from 120 to just under 600 people and growing revenue from 10mil to 60mil. Being the first legal hire and only lawyer, with two direct reports, I created the legal framework for the organisation and established processes to mitigate risk. European Legal Counsel for the Conversant arm of the Publicis Media Groupe. My role included:● Advising the business on all commercial legal aspects of the business with a focus on negotiating confidentiality agreements, affiliate marketing services contracts, agency authorisation agreements, and other services for large reputable brands;● Drafting, revising, and negotiating services agreements and other commercial contracts (such as Master Media Service Agreements and Statements of Work) for both clients and vendors;● Drafted templates, training materials, legal precedents, and best practices;● Assisted in training the business on commercial legal considerations;● Use of Salesforce to administer affiliate service orders and other standard legal documentation;● Supported other arms of the business with creative and KYC reviews, which included reviews of ASArulings and applying the CAP code; and● I managed COVID-19-related contract changes relating to the suspension of payments andamendments to termination for convenience clauses.

I worked as a junior Commercial Legal Counsel at TradeIX, the world's first open platform for trade finance, powered by blockchain / distributed ledger technology. TradeIX is a high-growth FinTech company, and has won numerous awards for supply chain finance innovation and its blockchain-based platform.
