Overseeing the flow of operations within a Material Recovery Facility by monitoring equipment to ensure the plant's quality, efficiency, and safety. It is my responsibility to safeguard operations, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting the facility's equipment and instruments. Working as a part of the team and providing leadership for our overall goal in making our city sustainable. Process Operator Duties and Responsibilities:- Operating Plant Machinery. Having to program and operator the facility's computer system (SCADA) which controls the machinery. It is used to manage the industrial process through monitoring, gathering and processing real-time data as it directly interacts with devices such as sensors, valves, pumps motors and more through HMI software. Recording events into a log file. - Monitor Equipment. Through conducting continuous inspections of all key process points in the facility, to identify anything abnormal as it is one of the responsibilities of this role to identify such issues, making necessary machinery equipment adjustments and implementing the proper response, including notifying the corresponding maintenance team. - Ensure Quality. It is also the responsibility of the Proces Operator to ensure that the quality and standard of the end product meets specifications under their supervision, through strict quality control analyses.- Maintain Records. The maintenance of a detailed logbook of all relevant activities and process adjustments made, noting any issues that were encountered and the correct measures were taken also falls under the duties of this roles.
