1. Under Designing:Design the Wiring Diagrams of the Industrial Control Panel (ICP) in DraftSight (similar to AutoCAd) and creating PLC Logic, SCADA Graphics in respective software.2. Under Testing:The main tasks include right from providing the main supply to the power terminals of the panel to turning on each protective device like MCB, ELCB along with the check of the respective voltage level and relay pick-up. Also, it includes testing of PLC which means deploying the logic into PLC and live testing of each respective input-output terminal block along with its voltage check. Given inspection to the Government as well as Private clients before the actual commissioning at their site.3. Under Troubleshooting:Troubleshoot in wiring with the help of the datasheet/product manual provided with the devices. Oftentimes, the use of tools on-site helps to troubleshoot the problems like wrong data interpretation on the meter, devices failing to automate or not working as per the logic built-in PLC, etc.4. Under Commissioning:Visiting the sites for the commissioning of the new Industrial Control Panels pan India. The main tasks included wiring and testing of each output device and automating the whole site. Skills like Critical thinking are needed during this stage to figure out any issue as many panels from different manufacturer’s relate with each other to run a single plant.

A crucial position of building a bridge between potential students and recruiters. Few of the main duties of this role is to organize the placement activities in the college for the different Engineering Departments. Also, to maintain and update the student database and forward them as and when required to the companies looking to hire graduate students.

Working as Event Volunteer then as Technical Workshop Co-ordinator. Now, finally, I served as an Advisor. This managerial position was basically to look after all the activities and guide the students as and when required and make sure that the fest is successful as always.So overall the three positions have helped me to develop my technical, presentation and leadership skills. The most important skill that I acquired was about working in teams and how to grow and achieve the team goal.

This time I got the chance to lead the workshop with a team of 10 student volunteers. Again the goal was the same to organize a Technical Workshop for the 1st year students. The workshop consisted of a presentation on an electrical circuit which was given by me followed by building that circuit on the spot with the help of student volunteers.This was the time where I had to share all my skills and experiences with the team members to train them harder as for the upcoming year they are the one who is going to be in my position.

With every passing year, the college welcomes a new batch of students. To celebrate this every year two welcoming events are organised which are basically Tech Festivals. This is owned and run by the 3rd and 4th year Engineering students.In this role, I volunteered for a workshop wherein I had to undergo rigorous training of soldering under the supervision of senior student team members. The final approach was to teach and develop soldering skills to the 1st year participants within a given frame of time.
