Role and Responsibilities: Understand the full scope of works of the project by giving proper attention to all client documents such as, drawings, specifications (Particular & General) and BOQ. Preparation of material submittals and method statements. (As a guide for manufacturing and installation) for consultant approval, carry out technical assessment for material and being procured for the projects. Prepare work schedule and daily progress report and perform accordingly to complete the work before the scheduled period of time. Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; monitoring progress; revising schedules accordingly to urgency and increases monthly productivity. Estimating the actual cost, man-hours and calculates/ prepares the BOM for the job order. Performing a major role in the job cost management –Takes different quotation from the suppliers and negotiate cum confirms the best affordable and reasonable price; Instigate new techniques and controls/avoid over wastage of man-hours and materials. Designs/Execute the products as per the client specification and requirements, summit to the client and get it approved. Propose necessary changes in the drawing and installation as per the site conditions. Supervision of in- house fabrication &installation of works at site. And confirming all are carried out as per the approved drawing. Rise timely in-process and final Quality inspection for work done and material ready for dispatch .Monitor the material availability in the store and advise stores dept to maintain minimum required inventory in stock. Resolves problems by analyzing and identifying the situation and recommends corrective action. Maintains safe and clean working environment and ensure health & safety standard measures are followed. Monitor the overall site fabrication and conduct timely quality inspection of the product and welding done.Prepares daily progress report and requirement of inventory for the next day.Prepare WPS and submit for consultant approval.Supervise the site installation activities and confirms the job is done as per the approved drawing.Conduct the NDT weld test and pressure test for the joints.Monitor cum record the preheating and post heated weld treatment activity and notedown the parameters and prepares reports.
