I am a Co-founder and CEO at Cancrie Inc. An advocate of sustainability, Cancrie develops high quality material by recycling variety of wastes which is an eco-friendly and efficient way of manufacturing batteries and supercapacitors. My work includes securing grants/funds, establishing and conceptualising facilities to innovate and carry out the production & commercialisation. Previously, I worked as a Principal Investigator and Technology Consultant for Multi-National Companies (MNCs) and Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Singapore. Holds a Ph.D. degree from National University of Singapore (NUS) in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering department and secured 1 patent, 15 peer-reviewed publications and 10 international conference presentations based on carbons and its application in Energy Storage and Water treatment. Reviewer for journals, Bioresource Technology, etc. Over 5+ years of experience for development of new products & processes and translational work for patents to commercialisation.I am also associated with UNEP from over 3 years and serving as a Lead author for “GEO for youth” publications. Its aim is to develop inspirational material that would empower youth to initiate and support actions for integrating environmental consciousness in their own behaviours and actions, in their personal and professional practices.Apart from this, I led and organised many events and sports tournaments and awarded as “Promising player of the year”, as University team captain and being Winner in several basketball tournaments.Contact: aks.che@gmail.com
