As a Scrum Master and Business Analyst, managed a team of 20 individuals consisting of software developers, product owners, user acceptance testers, business analysts, quality engineers across multiple geographies and time-zones (India, Pakistan, United States). I led the primary team that supported and maintained the CapitalIQ product, that currently covers data for 82000 public companies, 825000 private companies and in-depth global data for 17 industries.Led the integration of Kensho and S&P Global – providing smart visualizations for investment professionals. Responsibilities included envisioning product features, formalizing business requirements / user stories and guiding the technology teams through development, testing and launch to ensure the product was in line with the market demands. I was instrumental in ensuring the minimum viable product was delivered successfully against challenging deadlines, given that the project was closely followed by the CEO of S&P Global, Douglas Peterson.Designed and integrated technical enhancements in CapitalIQ in the form of RESTful APIs and automated readership solutions to allow more transparency in the investment research business (both real time and aftermarket), as required by MIFID II. This project involved directly working with sell side firms and research content teams to develop and test the APIs, create research products/groups per the sell side and research team's requirements and ensure they're regularly updated.Enhanced and redesigned the Takeover Defense algorithm on the CapitalIQ platform by working with product and content experts to better represent a company's position and preparedness against hostile takeovers.
