As part of modernization, the laboratory identifies the related impurities as per the required test (Assay, Organic impurities, Identification) and develops robust and stability-indicating methods. The laboratory follows USP General Chapter <1225> and internal guidelines for method validation.This whole process helps control and promote the quality of medicines through public standards. The industry uses general measures to ensure that its products are "good" for the intended use and abide by the rules set by the regulators.To summarize, It supports USP in fulfilling its mission to ensure the availability of high-quality compendial reference standards and up-to-date analytical test methods for inclusion in USP's compendia.
