👋Hello! My name is Akshay. I am a versatile Civil Engineer with 2+ years of experience in managing significant construction projects, ensuring cost savings, project planning, site investigation and implementing efficient material ordering strategies. Originally, I am from India and have been calling Australia home for the past 2 years.My decision to move overseas was fueled by my curiosity to pursue post-graduate education in civil engineering.As for my master’s research project I enhanced the mechanical properties and sustainability of road construction materials by implementing rigorous research recyclability methodologies on polymer modified binder asphalt in collaboration with industry experts.I was recognized by RMIT university for publishing a research paper on the "Recyclability of Polymer Modified Binder" in an official university publication.Currently, I work as a Geotechnical Engineer at DTM GeoCivil Consulting where I conduct geotechnical analysis by doing regular site inspections and conducting DCP tests to check soil stability, shear force, total load bearing capacity and infiltration rate of the soil.💡Tools: AutoCAD 2D & 3D, MS Project, MATLAB, 3DS Max, SolidWorks 2D & 3D, Total Station, Revit.Looking for an amazing engineer 🤓?
