• Handled an annual procurement of around Rs. 55 Crores (USD 6.6 M)• Responsible for planning & procurement of regular production consumables – industrial gases, fuels, oil & lubricants, abrasives, welding consumables, impact bits & sockets, commercial & lab grade chemicals, PPEs, masking and paint shop filters. Also, purchase requisition based procurement of machine maintenance spares, packaging items, general admin consumables, grocery items, etc. is taken care of.• Material forecasting as per monthly production plans, cross-functional planning & scheduling of production consumables, sending RFQs (Request for quotation), arranging quotations, negotiations, procurement of maintenance spares & general consumables, logistics tracking, monitoring stock levels, ensuring timely payments to suppliers thru finance departments.• Import ordering such as releasing import purchase orders, tracking production update, nominating freight forwarder & import clearance activities are being looked after.• Supplier visits and audits for production capacity monitoring and expansion road-map, if required.• Internal auditor for SOP adherence in line with IMS standards.• Finalizing & reviewing annual scheduling agreements of regular consumables. Monitoring share of business (SOB) on quarterly basis.

• Handled an annual procurement of around Rs. 80 Crores (USD 9.6 M)• Complete procurement activities of capital goods for 52 plant locations of Mahindra & Mahindra group’s Automotive & Farm Equipment Sectors across India being handled. This includes automotive sector, farm equipment sector, truck & buses division, construction equipment, heavy engines division, two wheeler, spares business & agri business verticals.• Capital Procurement for major projects : U321 – Marazzo S101 – KUV1OO U301 – TUV3OO P405 / P409 – Supro W105 – New Scorpio 2014 P601 – Jeeto• Responsible for procurement of industrial capital equipment pertaining to automotive testing domain, metrology instruments, production line testing systems, vehicle body shop equipment like BIW (body-in-white) weld line fixtures, welding guns, welding robots, hemming cells and EOL (End of Line) testing equipment like Roll & Break Testers (RBTs), shower testing systems, filling equipment and final check-up systems.• Procurement majorly involves import of automotive testing equipment from countries like South Korea, Japan, USA, Germany and other European countries.

• Handled procurement activities for the production line of power and auto transformers up to 315 MVA/400 KV capacities; managed 150 parts and a vendor base of 70 nos.• Successfully aligned the reorder point and maximum stock level of regular consumable materials with respect to the monthly consumption pattern which led to the reduction in redundant inventory thereby reducing hold up capital.• Successfully achieved overall cost reduction of 12% w.r.t. budget.• Heading the responsibilities pertaining to complete direct quotation, price analysis and sourcing for all Strategic Commodities such as MS Material, Accessories, Instruments Tap changers, Insulation materials.• Monitoring & maintaining the stock level of consumable materials on regular basis.• Looked after the costing, sourcing and ordering of MS fabricated materials.• Audits of regular part’s suppliers and periodic rating.
