Project - Tire Modelling- Conducted experimental research on micro-slip responses of tires under lateral forces. - Slip angle measurements were made by conducting experiments on distinct bicycles and a 3-parameter fit was found for the data using MATLAB. - Derived a relation between slip angle, normal force, lateral force and speed of tire that applies to small slip angles for vertical tires moving at low speeds.

Project - Numerical Modelling of Centreline Soot Volume Fraction in Laminar Co-flow Diffusion Flames.- Conducted research to address the inscrutable discrepancy between experimental and computed centreline soot volume fraction in laminar co-flow diffusion flames. - Reviewed literature pertaining to soot formation/oxidation in laminar coflow diffusion flames and familiarized with pre-existing FORTRAN based parallel programming model for soot prediction. - Proposed hypotheses based on thermal diffusion, chemical kinetics and soot formation mechanism, implemented them by modifying existing soot model code.
