My name is Akshay Vempati, and I am a business student dedicated to making an impact wherever I go. I was born in Troy, Michigan, but I have lived in Allen my whole life, developing a continuing interest in sports, video games, and business. As a student of life, I want to be able to grow myself personally and professionally, by instilling a good work-life balance, crafting strong teamwork and communication skills, and making meaningful connections with great people I meet in my path. Being able to work on two teams in high school, tutoring, and tennis, made me realize the power of working with others how much you can do by being surrounded by the right people, and how nurturing the environment is for your mind. Currently, I am focused on progressing my academic prowess, staying in good shape in school and physically, and searching for any opportunity to further my path to success. I am not only driven by my goals to reach a secure and healthy position in life but also to grow as a person, embracing challenges and any hardships thrown at me, on my path to making an impact on the world.
