Key Responsibilities:• Responsible for a project to record & analyse the occurrence of dust particles during the bumper painting operation of all the car models produced in the plant.• Investigated current process, looking at equipment design, operation & painting environment.• Collected dust data for a single model over a 1-week period using control chart techniques to techniques to analyse a particular colour with the maximum dust particles.• Proposed & developed a new data recording program using macros in Microsoft excel to evaluate & analyse painting irregularities in different colours & models.• Assisted the department in running trials for minimising the occurrence of dust particles & in the development of new polishing material.• Examined the results & presented the results to the department manager.
