I am Ahmed Kamal, Founder Global Youth Movement, Legal Consultant on Energy, Environment and Public International law, Chevening Climate Mentee, Research Analyst on International Affairs, Youth leader and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals advocate. I am passionate about leveraging my legal expertise to drive social change, advocate for youth empowerment, and promote environmental sustainability.In my career, I've had the privilege of serving as a Law Clerk at the Supreme Court of Pakistan and assisting the Additional Attorney General's office with in-depth research and case preparation. My experience also includes working as a Legal Intern for the Federal Tax Ombudsman, where I researched alternative dispute resolution methods and penned a report on the use cases of ADR and the comparison of Judicial Courts with Quasi-Judicial forums like the Ombudsman, their strengths, weaknesses and places for improvement. The report was published by the Federal Tax Ombudsman office and presented to former President Arif Alvi as well.Moreover, Founding Global Youth Movement (G.Y.M) has been one of my most rewarding endeavors. Through this youth-led organization, I've worked to advance the UN SDGs through community-driven initiatives such as tree plantations, career counseling, and entrepreneurship programs.Furthermore, as a Mentee under the British High Commission’s Chevening Climate Mentorship Program, I have engaged in policy discussions and initiatives focusing on biodiversity and environmental conservation. This experience has honed my skills in leadership, policy analysis, and international law.When I’m not working on learning new stuff or projects, I like to spend time volunteering for different social causes and staying active through horse riding, playing tennis, and swimming.
