I am Akthar Rasheed, currently serving as an Executive - Integrated Ops at Daraz and pursuing a BEng (Hons) in Software Engineering at the Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT), affiliated with the University of Westminster. With a strong foundation in software development and a passion for technology, I am driven to explore innovative solutions that bridge the gap between business and technology.Previously, I served as the Sports Director of the Rotaract Club of IIT, where I successfully chaired key events such as the Hot Dog Showdown (HDS) 2024 and the IIT Gaming Fest (IGF) 2024, demonstrating my capabilities in event management, crisis management, and strategic negotiations. My academic journey has been complemented by practical experiences, enhancing my technical proficiencies in various programming languages and frameworks, including JavaScript, Python, Java, Node.js, and CSS. I have a strong grasp of object-oriented programming and software development principles.Beyond my professional and academic commitments, I am passionate about basketball, playing as the Vice Captain of IIT Basketball. In my leisure time, I continually work on improving my skills through coding and Photoshop projects. Additionally, I am deeply interested in web development, often engaging in mini-courses to broaden my knowledge and expertise in this area.My dedication to personal and community development is evident through my volunteer work with HelpAge Sri Lanka, my involvement in the G17 Consortium focusing on quality education, and my active participation in Rotaract.
