As the Network Engineer ,Primary focus will be to provide technical assistance for SMB and Enterprise level customers and channel partners for the POCs,Installation,Configuration and troubleshooting the Sophos | Cyberoam products & attend to day-today technical queries,giving Pre-sales support for Tenders and RFP documentation,designing and delivering product related network security solution for customers and partners.

The IT Security Specialist is a technical consultant to Sophos Partners, Customers. As a subject matter expert in multiple technical disciplines, and acts as a trusted advisor to technical professionals within their assigned territory. This position assists in crafting Partner on-boarding strategies, documenting and fulfilling training needs, and as appropriate, will influence the customer decision making process across all levels of the business.► Providing local and international (Maldives) Tier-III level support for Sophos Next generation firewalls/UTMs & Endpoint Security Products.► Conduct Proof of Concepts to demonstrate how products will satisfy the requirements of new and prospective clients.► Designing secure systems and network infrastructure.► Respond immediately to Sophos Firewalls/UTMs/Endpoint Security clients’ incidents and provide post-incident analysis.► Developing long-term relationships with Partners, Clients, through administrating and interpreting their security change requirements and follow-up renewals. ► Preparing product comparison metrics and reports considering the competitive security products.

Responsible for overall operational functions relating to Network Administration ensuring excellent performance standards of the general duties.► Network Design, Implementation & Maintenance of ETI Branch Network► Managing Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 Servers► Managing the Kaspersky Antivirus server and Antivirus software Installations.► Maintaining & Configuring Cyberoam Firewall, Dell L3 Switches► Maintaining Active Directory (AD) / Terminal Server/ File Server & Zimbra Mail server.► Expanding the Network segments for additional users and divisions► Coordinating with the service providers to maintain the VPN ► Perform the Daily Backups & Restoring of Core Banking System.► Perform & Scheduling the Server Backups► Managing & Troubleshooting IT Issues through Helpdesk. ► Configuring & Monitoring the PRTG Network Monitor Tool & Ensure the Connectivity of entire network. ► Perform reviews of network security architecture, information security administration and policy.► Maintain proper documentation of the company’s telecommunications, network and computing environment.► IT Helpdesk Support to End Users of ETI Branch Network.► Coordinating with suppliers and vendors► Managing the Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 / 8.1 / 10.
