Perform and evaluate cost/benefit analysis on capital equipment purchases. Integrate new capital equipment into production capabilities. Concept, develop and model tooling for automated welding systems using Creo 2.0. Responsible for performing stress analysis on the tools as well as ensuring components are fully manufacturable and stay within budgetary constraints.

Work with customers to refine their ideas from a design for manufacturing perspective. Model customer designs using Autodesk Inventor 2013/14/15/16 and Creo 2.0. Utilize Creo 2.0 Manufacturing to produce toolpaths for complex part programs. Set up, program and operate Milltronics CNC milling machines, Hardinge manual lathes and an Omax Waterjet cutting machine to fabricate customer parts according to the specifications established with the customer during design phase. Set up and weld parts using a Lincoln Electric Precision TIG 375 machine. Perform a cost/benefit analysis on repairing vs. replacing welding machinery and research the ideal replacement welding machine, which was purchased and is still in use today.

Create and implement lesson plans for rifle, shotgun and archery ranges in order to train ~150 youths ages 11-17 in the safe handling, operation and maintenance of bows, rifles and shotguns. Oversaw daily operations of those same three ranges as well as managing workflow for the directors of those ranges. Established and enforced operational standards that resulted in zero incidents over three years.

Create and implement lesson plans to train soldiers in the response to contact with hostile forces in order to increase soldier readiness and battlefield survivability. Supervised the daily activities and workflow of four other instructors. Utilized my own experience from a tour in Iraq, as well as the real world combat experiences of the other instructors on my team to enhance the content over and above Army standard.Received two Army Achievement medals for performance as an instructor and a promotion to Sergeant as well as an Army Commendation medal for my overall performance in my tour of duty in Korea.
