In this new role I will be helping ENTEK promote our Turnkey capabilities. ENTEK has been doing turnkey extruder projects for over 30 years, and I have been involved with them over my tenure with ENTEK as a project manager and controls engineer. Now I will be supporting our outside sales managers to help show existing and potential customers our vast experience integrating upstream and downstream equipment with our extruders. ENTEK has experience specifying, installing, and commissioning production lines in many different facets of plastics (blown film, compounding, profile, and sheet).

I have been involved in the Extrusion Division from the first extruder we built for an outside customer. I have served on ENTEK Manufacturing’s Management Team and managed projects that ranged from thousands to multi-million dollars. I have also enjoyed supporting sales with technical back-up, quoting and trade show support. My primary contributions have been in the devolvement and programming of industrial controls (PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, etc.) for the many projects ENTEK does from small to large.

While at Verteq, I served as a Controls Engineer. My primary focus was programming GE 90/30 PLCs for various types of Silicon Wafer production benches. I learned the challenges of working within a clean room, and was introduced to the “bunny suit”.

While at ACT, I served as a Controls Engineer. This is where I initially learn the “ins and outs” of Controls Programming. I worked a number of controls projects from retrofitting the controls of grain elevators in Vancouver and Louisiana, to developing the controls for a pipe bending line in China, to support work on the North Slope of Alaska.
