To support customers in a day center,working with people with varied disabilities some with challenging behaviors. I work with a very professional team all supporting our customers set up the sessions through out the day and to support during lunch time.as some clients have specific dietary needs following salt plans and also to support customers with administering clinical PEG feed at specific times of the day and to log information, I have also been the minibus driver and escort working on a rota to pick up and drop off customers from both home/center, To assist the customers within any of the many sessions available through out the day from Cooking to gardening and arts and crafts loads more,

Working on a government work programme through the DWP to find and sustain employment/training /placements for people working to targets completing all relevant paper work supported customers with advice and guidance, we over come barriers and concentrated on the ability and not the disability. also to source employment opportunities by arranging face to face meetings with directors/managers to open available vacancies, also to give advice and guidance to the employer supporting in making reasonable adjustments where possible to help the employee sustain the position with less the cost and with the least disruption and also to keep the confidentiality at most to respect the customer in the work place. Working with other professionals and organisations to assist with cost saving and accepting professional advice where required. we ran job clubs for customers in house or at other venues to save customers the least traveling where possible and to help customers to look at the best way to put them self's forward to any prospective employer. building the confidence and using the can do approach at all times. we would attend jobs fares to resource our own customers and engage with other training providers.

Addressing any barriers that would prevent the client gaining and sustaining a permanent position. working to targets and within time scales set within the workstep programme. and following policies and procedures.
