• Worked on developing components in web pages with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) which is a content tool for portal using Angular JS. AEM allows user to edit the content and publish the changes into production without any deployment which can reduce the time and effort. Adobe Experience Manger is used since, Highmark has multiple brands and the content varies for all brands. • Developed AEM “input text field” component to make placeholder editable in portal search page.• Integrated Angular code with AEM to retrieve content from AEM DAM.• Generated json files of complex teamsite data and integrated it with AEM.• Responsible for analyzing and gathering the requirements and development of Portal projects in AEM for all the supported brands.• Used text, image, link and custom created AEM components to bring the portal from teamsite to AEM platform.• Used restful services in java 1.6 and on the backend layer and we used Spring 3.x Core and JDBC to hook up the service and to fetch data from the RDMBS Oracle 10.x database.• Used Apache Wink REST web services to interact with different system endpoints like ECS, ICIS, OSCAR etc.• Used data power layer as an intermediate layer which interprets the HTPP request/client request before hitting the backend layer.• Used tools such as Postman, SOAPUI for debugging the services.• Used Version control tools such as GIT for maintaining all the code repositories.• Involved in developing Responsive UI pages using jQuery, Angular JS using Ajax calls for UI interactions.• Involved in developing RESTful Webservices.• Responsible for developing Single Page Applications using Angular JS framework.• Involved in developing responsive web pages using HTML, CSS frameworks to be compatible with all the browser versions.
