The best marketing sometimes needs more datapoints, more business rules around contact and content strategy, more integrations and faster calculations on key metrics.Marketing needs closer alignment with Sales for creating higher quality leads at the agreed-upon velocity; using an agreed-upon lead-score algorithm.All companies need to know who their best prospects are and how those segments are engaging with them; across all touch-points.These are all pieces of the marketing puzzle that I have worked on from blank canvases at start-ups, to large enterprise companies in multiple industries.I have designed and rolled out Customer Data Platforms and tools that have provided companies key predictive measures used in segmentation, forecasting and lead scoring; improving marketing campaign response rates and generating higher-quality leads faster.I have created automated marketing campaigns that consistently out-performed manually created campaigns.All of the above also needs to be reported on and monitored. No marketing is complete without the 'Intelligence' piece of the puzzle. Data needs to be transformed into intelligence via easily accessible, flexible audits and dashboard and deep-dive reporting.
