Managed all contractual matters including negotiations, resolving issues, executing agreements and overseeing subcontracts. These contracts includes managing all four APL’s IT vendors. Primary responsibilities include partnering closely with our technical teams, their Program Management Offices, and other functional departments. Exercise independent judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods for obtaining solutions, focusing on clear communication and relationship management. Managed portfolios of work that included the full procurement life cycle of subcontractor services by guiding technical staff through the acquisition process, including pre-solicitation planning, review and critique of the statements of work (SOW), evaluation of contractor proposals, negotiations, awarding contracts, managing contractor performance, and ultimately contract closeout.

SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES – • Experience installing, testing and maintaining UTP (Un-Shielded Twisted Pair), STP (Shielded Twisted Pair) and fiber optic cabling preferred• Familiar with the underlying theories and concepts of data communications and transmission• Familiar with and have a basic knowledge with Windows operating system and with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc….) • Install and program voice and data infrastructure including but not limited to Phone Systems, Voice Mail Systems, Category 3 through Category 6 wire, Setup terminals and racks, Labeling of all installed wiring, install data equipment including DSL modems, Hubs and Switches. • Provides hands-on assistance and troubleshoots telecommunications equipment, wiring and data equipment • Verifies installation with customer • Completes all documentation on customers work order including but not limited to, time spent at location, materials used system configuration worksheet. • Work with and have a complete understanding of 66 and 110 blocks, surge protection, grounding infrastructure, digital and analog transmission, LAN characteristics, and LAN Hardware and Software, and the purpose there of. • Program systems including but not limited to Phone systems, Voice Mail Systems, DSL Modems. • Responsible for new installs and maintenance • Perform major programming changes and hardware repairs • Maintain Cooperative working Relationships with Customers, Employees, and Vendors.
