 Designing a classifier to detect the attended speech source in competing talker conditions. Investigating neural correlates of the speech envelope in different conditions of listening (Active/Passive/Selective) with different situations (Quiet/Noise) using EEG. Implemented vocoder based frequency lowering algorithm to enhance the place of articulation perception by enhancing the spectral differences of the consonants for hearing impaired people. Worked on automatic speech recognition algorithms to classify the English consonants based on their spectral differences. Examined different spectral and temporal cues that contribute to speech perception for cochlear-implant and hearing-impaired listeners.

 Implemented three digital audio watermarking algorithms in time domain and wavelet domain using MATLAB. Analyzed the algorithms using the Stir Benchmark attacks to compare the performance. Measured the bit difference, bit error rate, correlation and signal to noise ratio for the algorithms with different attacks. Simulated LSB algorithm in VLSI by interfacing MATLAB and VHDL with MODELSIM.
