DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Analysis and design of structural systems for different types of structures using hand calculations and structural software such as ETABS, SAFE, PROKON, STAAD Pro and others, taking into consideration several types of forces including dead, live, snow and lateral forces action such as seismic and wind.2. Checking that the structural analysis and design complying with the adopted forces, design codes and regulations are including IBC 2012, ASCE 07-2010, ACI 2014, British Standards and any other local codes.3. Preparing full construction drawings with the coordination withOther disciplines (architectural, mechanical and electrical engineers).4. Preparation of structural analysis and design calculations, reports, material specifications and design criteria for various types of projects.5. Providing structural engineering consulting services, and checking design drawings and calculations prepared by other firms.6. Resolve technical queries from construction sites.7. Solutions to engineering problems related to structural elements.
