Provided direct, in-home therapy to pediatric clients with autism spectrum disorder. Utilized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to execute individualized, early-intervention treatment plans to increase autonomy, ADLs, social skills. Utilized discrete trial training (DTT) combined with playful instruction, positive and negative reinforcement, punishment, extinction and redirection in order to increase language and communication, increase skill in appropriate play, cooperation, and self-help. Collected clinical data on observable client behaviors to assess functionality, identify patterns, and assess for intervention efficacy. Charted data and documented progress notes, coordinated intervention plans with parents and clinicians. Trained incoming behavioral technicians and modeled teaching strategies.
