As a CIO I am responsible for planning and executing the IT strategy in the group . Responsibility is to plan an expandable secured infrastructure that matches the expected group growth as well as manage the implementation of Microsoft ERP Dynamics GP (Financial, Payroll, Inventory and Manufacturing) Also built the IT team structure for current and future needs for the group companies and sales branches all over Syria.

Responsible for all IT activities and team in the whole group and sales branches all over Egypt. from defining policies and standards, IT Business Strategy to ERP maintenance( Oracle, Fourth Shift & Microtech) , Business Continuity & new ERP ( Oracle Business Suite) implementation as well as plan and execute updated infrastructure & communication project for the group that has many factories in 4 remote cities and branches all over Egypt

Handling the Resource Manager responsibilities in the Software Delivery section preparing theResource Utilization Plan , Team Training Plan and planning for usage of Time Sheet . During the assignment I have helped in testing and implementing the IBM Rational Portfolio Software to track the technical resource utilization as well as the projects deliverables and staffing needs. Worked as Data Center Manager in the Head Office with Modern Industries Company / Modern Products Company A Joint Venture with Procter & Gamble in Saudi Arabia: responsible for the IBM AS/400 operations which is serving about 100 users , 70 of them are located remotely. Besides the AS/400 operations I also managed the LAN / WAN ( WAN use Cisco routers to connect the three remote LAN sites to the Head Office . Also I Took care of the EMAIL system in the head office/ other three sites in the kingdom/ Procter & Gamble Office in Brussels , Belgium. In this position I had 12 engineers reporting to me . I managed different upgrade plans in the hardware and software. Some examples are as follows :1. Upgrade the AS/400 from Model E60 to Model 310/2044.2. Upgrade the Operating System from 3.1 to 3.2 to 3.5. the last upgrade was made to make the machine ready for Y2K ( year 2000).3. Upgrade the BPCS package from version 3 to 3.2 to 4.01 and finally 4.02

I worked as a Project Manager implementing / supporting BPCS ( ERP) package. This package takes care of all financial / manufacturing / purchasing / distributions activities in P&G Saudi ArabiaDuring the implementation our clients were the different P&G departments and a team is formed from them and our department to determine package/ process changes.

 I worked as Project Manager designing and implementing different software packages  Some examples : ( Order Status System ) that takes care of the orders of their orders.& Training Tracking System to track and assign training for P& G employees in Saudi Arabia.Our clients in the projects were P&G in the kingdom and the Gulf countries distributors.  I have used P&G project management methodologies and LBMS methodologies in this assignment

 I worked as Systems / planning Department Manager in the Paper Plant responsible for the plant systems and the infrastructure and all computer purchases.  The major accomplishment during the assignment was implementing and operating the one of the first LAN in the region using IBM Token Ring Topology and Novell OS . Then I managed the rolling out of Cc:mail to all PC users in the plant.  I had also another responsibility for the production planning and marketing promotions activities for the Paper products.

 I worked as Storeroom Manger responsible for managing and ordering spare parts for the paper plant . I had a team of 7 .  The major accomplishment was automating the Spare Parts Reorder process to take few minutes instead of 3 days using innovative solution using Lotus 123 , Dbase & the P& G PC email package called IONPC.

 I worked as Quality control manager responsible for implementing the needed Quality System for the plant during startup and developing local suppliers . I had a team of 6 direct reporter s and 12 dotted line reporters.  Then I worked as a Process manager responsible for implementing the process systems to control the production lines. During theses assignment I shared in implementing the Total Quality system

In 1983 I spent the whole year in US on the job training in one of Procter & Gamble plants in Albany , Georgia.

 I worked in the Electronics Factory of Arab Organization for Industrialization ( AOI) in Cairo , Egypt as Quality Control Manager ,  During this assignment I spent 2 years in England for my Master of Science Degree and on the job training.  Also I spent few months in Paris for on the job training
