• Supervising concrete works construction around mine site • Supervising civil/earth works including completion of tailings storage facility TSF• Performing quality control and day to day checking on construction works, • Solving technical problems as they arise and liaising with engineering manager, designers and different departments,• Managing sub-contactors for civil works,

• Managing and monitoring the projects construction activities including project implementation plans, work programs, budgets, and staffing requirements, • Monitoring the financial and budgetary aspects of the project, in consultation with the general manager, • Planning, managing and monitoring projects procurement,• Liaising with Engineering consultants, Architects and Clients,• Liaising with and managing sub-contractors,• Coordinating and supervising site managers and project staff,• Receiving, reviewing and pricing tender documents and co-ordinate submissions,• Monitor closely quality control to ensure works meet client’s expectation and specifications, • Provide engineering support as required.

• Managing the construction of 720 room camp and amenities including access roads, mess, recreational areas, waste water treatment plant and minor landscaping, • Managing and monitoring, in close consultation with the construction manager, the project civil construction activities including project implementation plans, work programs, budgets and staffing requirements,• Responsible for the civil construction of 25Km water pipe line and six pump stations. • Leading civil construction team (engineers, supervisors and trades persons, total of 120 people),• Planning and programming works to meet targeted completion dates,• Planning, performing and monitoring projects civil procurement,• Performing quality control and day to day checking on construction works, • Solving technical problems as they arise and liaising with engineering manager, designers and different departments,• Managing sub-contactors for civil works, • Providing daily and monthly progress report, • Conducting contract negotiations and contract administration.
