The Regional Centre for food and feed (RCFF) hosted my second graduation project which titled “Detection of Salmonella spp. in feed samples using PCR-based techniques”. The research duration was 4 months full of experience and challenges. The work mainly based on isolating DNA content from feed samples and setting PCR program to analyse those samples to detect any contamination with Salmonella.The RCFF has a rich work environment. I learned alot.

I ran my first graduation project at Theodor Bilhariz Institute. My research aimed to genotype two SNPs (single nucleotide polymorphism) that have an association to bladder cancer in Egyptian patients using PCR-RFLP (Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism).

I was an intern at the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency -Aswan Branch-. It was a great experience. Environmental affairs always been one of my fields of interest, and this internship gave me great insights about that field within my home-town borders.
