Ambulatory Surgery Center Consultant/Initial Licensing Specialist

1 year contract for new CON ASC 2 OR/1 procedure room. Handled outfitting equipment, contracts with service/medication/consumable vendors, instrumentation procurement and set organization, inital staffing, credentialing of physicians, education of staff, implementation of Infection Control Program, implementation of Total Joint Program. Work closely with Medical Director. Passing initial DCH inspection without any deficiencies. Second DCH/state inspection passed without deficiencies. Maintained 0٪ Post operative infection rate throughout overseeing of ASC.Currently transitioning this role to a new ASC administrator. Contact was to be for 1 year opening 2 centers (RSC and Summit). The owners asked for me to stay on as Administrator/DON until suitable replacement trained.

Worked closely with referral sources to implement SOP's while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Several roles: Anesthesia Tech, Surgery Scheduler, Central Sterile Tech, Surgical Assistant, Circulating RN, Charge Nurse. This has helped me know every aspect of a surgery center.

Helped open a new 4 OR/10 procedure room multi-specialty ASC as an RN. Materials management and Instrumentation procurement.
