As an experienced Splunk Application Developer, I am the technical lead for the Splunk Application Development team.

As an Infrastructure Analyst in Web Operations, I configure and maintain Application servers (tomcat, other various platforms), Web servers (Apache, WebLogic, others), Load balancing (F5 and ACE), internal APIs (CA layer7), and various other platforms. I am the lead administrator for Splunk, and am implementing the Solarwinds montioring platform.

During my time as contractor for Octoblu, I helped setup the Splunk environment for the Octoblu platform. I wrote a data analysis page for the platform which was written in AngularJS. I used Elasticsearch and Logstash as the primary building blocks, eventually using Splunk to control an LED color based on the aggregated heart rate of a participant.

As Systems Engineer for Directory Services, I performed many vital roles. I was the Lead Email Administrator, Lead Google Apps for Education Administrator, Directory Services Administrator, and Splunk Admin/Developer. During my time here, I wrote a Tour de France app for Splunk, which displayed the top 10 riders on a map in realtime. I migrated 8000 users.

During my time as Systems Programmer, I wrote many PHP/MySQL applications, maintained the primary web site, administered over 8000 SunLDAP accounts, and wrote custom PERL scripts for account synchronization.

During my 9 years in the Military, I was deployed 2 times to Iraq. During my first tour I was responsible for maintaining inventory and equipment, performing maintenance while on the road in a combat zone, and driving a fully loaded semi-truck as needed. During my second tour, I was responsible for a squad of soldiers, supervising the work they performed.
