Albert (Al) currently operates out of the BDSI (Boeing Distribution Services) Philadephia facility and is part of a supply chain team that is responsible for the execution of the 3PL SOW for the Boeing Philadelphia Site.Al originally began his career at Boeing Helicopter Company in 1987 in the Inventory Management Organiztation and over the following 11 years operated in the receiving, storing, distributing and expediting of in-house requirements for Hazardous Materials, Metal Raw material and purchased parts from outside vendors.In 1999 Al left the Boeing company to develop and advance his families' Emergency Response and Industrial Safety Equipment and Apparel business. Over the next 2 decades Al provided sales, implementation, training, technical assistance and field support of respiratory protection equipment, gas detection devices and PPE apparel. He serviced a national and international customer base of federal, state, county and local emergency response agencies including the FBI, CBP, DOD and FDNY as well as industrial customers in the petroleum, manufacturing, construction and aerospsace fields operating in the northeast/mid-atlantic corridor and maritime ports.In 2021 Al liquidated the family business after a 10 month period that saw the passing of the family business CEO and CFO, otherwise known as Mom and DadDespite many satisfying and stimulating exploits chronicling his career history, Al considers his almost 4 decades as a volunteer Firefighter, EMT, Hazardous Materials Response Technician and leadership role as Assistant Fire Chief to be the most challenging and rewarding experiences of his lifetime.Skills:Al is a third generation Emergency Responder with 30+ years experience operating in Greater Philadelphia area Emergency Response Agencies dealing with Firefighting, Emergency Medical, Hazardous Material, Industrial, ARFF and Maritime Emergencies. A dynamic, results-oriented Emergency Response, Industrial Safety and Compliance Product sales representative, Service Technician and Trainer with a solid history of over 35 years’ experience. Well versed on compliance factors of NFPA, NIOSH and OSHA such as procedures, protocols, equipment and training as they pertain to Public and Industrial Safety operations.Well educated, trained and certified on service, repair, calibration and testing of wide range of respiratory protection, gas detection and PPE equipment including but not limited to SCBA, APR, PAPR, CCBA, SAL, portable gas and vapor detection equipment utilizing electrochemical, Catalytic bead, IR and PID sensors.
