I enjoy gaining understanding about a problem through in-depth research in order to have a well-rounded view of the issue at hand. I have been passionate about understanding how to best serve children from underrepresented communities since I was a child myself. My background in studying the Spanish language and Mexican culture starting in kindergarten pushed me to pursue an education at a social justice college and has sparked a passion to be a part of an initiative that empowers young people from underprivileged communities and backgrounds that will give them the tools to better themselves and build generational wealth to open opportunities for them and their children.
